Seminar Summary

The Commissioning Process in New and Existing Buildings full day seminar focuses on how the building commissioning process can be applied cost-effectively and covers the fundamentals of the process through each step of a project. The seminar also will cover commissioning documentation, including an overview of commissioning specifications.

The Instructor

Bill McCartney, CPMP (Isotherm Engineering Ltd)
Mr. McCartney, a partner with Isotherm Engineering Ltd. He has 44 years’ experience in the HVAC&R industry and holds a Trade Certification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. He has been involved in commissioning nearly 100 projects from schools, to large commercial projects. Included in this list are long term health care facilities, numerous water treatment/sewage facilities, police headquarters, prisons, hospitals, sports complexes, universities, high density high-rises and many LEED projects. Bill is a past president of the Ontario Refrigeration Contractors Association and of the Canadian Refrigeration Air Conditioning Contractors Association; a voting member of several technical and project committees for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; and is ASHRAE Commissioning Process Management Professional certified.
